Support for young people in emergencies

Everyone needs some support after being in, or witnessing a natural disaster. As everyone is different, the type or level of support they need differs and will change over time.

It is important to seek support following natural disasters. If you are supporting your child or a young person, we encourage you to also make sure you are supporting yourself.

Head space has prepared a comprehensive online resource for parents and carers to explain common reactions and behaviours in young people, and how you can help.
