We regularly inspect and schedule repairs for our local road and footpath network to ensure that it is in good working order.

Footpath repairs and maintenance include preventing and repairing uneven surfaces, cracks, tripping hazards, overgrown plants and potholes.
Kerb and Channel Maintenance
Kerbs and channels are inspected and maintained for faults and damage that includes broken, missing or subsided kerbs and water pooling.
Minor Road Repairs
Roads are inspected and faults and damage are recorded and scheduled for repair, including potholes, cracks and deterioration of the surface.
Line and Road Markings
Line and road markings are inspected, and poorly visible lines are recorded and scheduled for repair or replacement.
Bridge and Culvert Maintenance
We maintain 289 bridges and major culverts on public roads designed to carry traffic and pedestrians.
Traffic and Parking Sign Repair
Traffic and parking signs are inspected and faults and damages are recorded and scheduled for repair or replacement. We replace missing signs and repair signs that are damaged or have poor visibility.

Street Furniture Repairs
We inspect our street furniture regularly for damage. All faults and damage are reported and scheduled for repair or replacement.

Maintenance of Council drains, pits, kerbs and channels are conducted regularly to ensure they are operating effectively and are free from blockage. Faults and damage includes broken or damaged pit lids, blocked drains or flooding are reported and scheduled for repair.

Private Drains – Maintained by the Property Owner
Two drainage systems remove water from most homes and businesses — storm water and sewerage.
These systems are the responsibility of the property owner. The storm water system removes water from your home or business to a Council drain. For storm water problems occurring from private property to a Council drain, a plumber may need to be contacted.
The sewerage system removes water from your laundry, kitchen, bathroom and toilet to the main sewer maintained by either:
