Council services and information

Information on changes to Council services and events as part of our response to Coronavirus and how we are supporting the provision of essential Council services.

We're encouraging people to avoid face-to-face contact if they can.

There are many ways you can help slow the spread and still access Council services. You can contact us by:

DO NOT visit if you are unwell, have returned from overseas recently, have had contact with someone who has returned from overseas recently or you are confirmed to have COVID-19 or are in close contact with someone who has.

Citizenship ceremonyCancelledApril citizenship ceremony cancelled. For questions regarding your citizenship please contact the Department of Home Affairs 131 881.
Council meetingsContinuingProceeding in Broadford Hall to enable social distancing. Requests to State Government for intervention to enable meetings to occur remotely. Livestreaming options being investigated.

Greater Beveridge Community CentreReduced servicesMaternal and child health and immunisation services open. TRY kindergartens closed from Friday 27 March for school term break, no community bookings.

Maternal and child healthReduced servicesTelephone consultation and short home visits or centre visits of no more than 15 minutes to be conducted. Your Maternal and Child Health nurse will call you on the morning of your appointment and arrange a time to contact you. Breastfeeding clinics will be via the phone. Please call 5734 6253 to let the Lactation Consultant know that you want assistance and she will contact you. Sleep and Settling will be via the phone 5734 6253.

Broadford (Mia Mia Road), open extended hours (10am-4pm, 6 days per week excluding Mondays). Pyalong and Wallan open normal hours. Extra precautions in place - stay in car to pay, cashless only, maintain safe distance, follow directions.
