Permits, forms and applications for use of land in Mitchell

Significant Planning Applications within the Shire

Mitchell Shire Council receives about 370-400 planning permit applications each year. About 10 percent of these are for significant applications that consist of large subdivisions, housing and commercial developments, infrastructure projects, festivals and events.

These significant projects can take many years to be realised and normally involve community consultation. This page provides updates on some of these significant planning applications that are of community interest.
