Designed by J J Clark, Kilmore Courthouse was constructed in 1863. The building is an example of Victorian Romanesque style architecture.
The courthouse was an important part of the development of the Kilmore township, bringing law and order to the oldest inland town.
The building is on Crown land and governed by a Committee of Management.
