Amendment 151: Kilmore South East Rezone

Mitchell Shire Council has prepared Planning Scheme Amendment C151 to the Mitchell Planning Scheme. Amendment C151 proposes to rezone land within Kilmore's south-east growth precinct from Farming Zone, Rural Living Zone and Public Use Zone to General Residential Zone and amend the extent of the Vegetation Protection Overlay in the area. The land affected by Amendment C151 is shown below. Further information regarding the amendment can be found within the Information Sheet linked below.

Panel Hearing

Submissions to Amendment C151 are now closed.

Council on Monday 17 August 2020 resolved to refer submissions to the Independent Planning Panel for review.

Due to COVID-19 and the associated physical distancing requirements, a Directions Hearing for Mitchell Planning Scheme Amendment C151mith was held by video conference on Monday 14 September 2020.

The Main Hearing is scheduled to commence by video conference on Tuesday 13 October 2020 and Wednesday 14 October 2020.

Parties to the hearing have been contacted regarding these arrangements. The panel will hear this matter in an open forum, consistent with its obligation to conduct hearings in public.

Day 1 of the proceedings can be accessed here. Day 1 is scheduled to run from 10am to 3.15pm on Tuesday 13 October 2020.

Day 2 of the proceedings can be accessed here. Day 2 is scheduled to run from 10am to 12.30pm on Wednesday 14 October.
