Changing a planning permit

If you wish to make any changes after a planning permit has been issued you need to apply for an amendment to that permit.
Apply to Amend a Permit
We recommend that before you lodge a form to amend your planning permit, you discuss the proposed amendment of your application with the Council planning officer handling your application.
If you need to change the details of your planning permit:
- complete the Application to Amend a Planning Permit form (download below)
- return form and supporting documents to any of our Customer and Library Service Centres and pay the relevant fee in person; or
- return your documents to Mitchell Shire Council or submit via the form below and an officer will call you to take payment over the phone
Time Extensions
If you want to request more time to fulfil the conditions of your planning permit:
- complete the Extension of Time Request form (download below)
- return form to any of our Customer and Library Service Centres and pay the relevant fee in person; or
- return your documents to Mitchell Shire Council or submit via the form below and an officer will call you to take payment over the phone
Minor Amendments to Permits
To make a minor amendment to a permit, such as a minor change to the plans:
- complete the request for Amendment Under Secondary Consent Form (download below)
- return form to any of our Customer and Library Service Centres and pay the relevant fee in person; or
- return your documents to Mitchell Shire Council or submit via the form below and an officer will call you to take payment over the phone
