Council has received an application for a development plan pursuant to the Development Plan Overlay provisions at Clause 43.04 (Schedule 10) of the Mitchell Planning Scheme.
There are 10 properties directly affected by the proposed development plan which are:
- 2 Union Street, Kilmore
- 6 Union Street, Kilmore (partly)
- 8 Union Street, Kilmore (partly)
- 10 Union Street, Kilmore (partly)
- 12A Union Street, Kilmore
- 16 Union Street, Kilmore
- 18 Union Street, Kilmore (partly)
- 3 Chapel Street, Kilmore
- 5 Chapel Street, Kilmore
- 9 Chapel Street, Kilmore
The proposed development plan would result in residential development (approximately 33 residential lots) and the provision of open space abutting the waterway.
Council is currently undertaking an assessment of the proposed development plan, as such the final content and form of the development plan is subject to change based on Council’s assessment. The final development plan will be formally considered at a Council meeting at a future date to be confirmed.
Any development plan that may be approved for the site does not provide planning permit approval or consent for works to commence on site. In addition, approval of a development plan does not provide any form of guarantee or assurance that future planning permit applications will be granted or the nature of conditions which would be imposed.
