The application is proposing to amend conditions and endorsed plans.
Amendment to planning permit
The application is proposing to amend the planning permit preamble to remove reference to a Medical centre as the permit holder is no longer seeking to operate a medical centre land use. A number of conditions the permit that refer to the medical centre are also sought to be amended. These conditions include condition 1n), condition 1u) and condition 23 of the permit.
Amendment to endorsed plans
The proposed amendment includes alterations to the endorsed plans for the development. Internal alterations will occur to the building located in the south-eastern corner of the site. As the permit holder is no longer seeking to operate the medical centre, internal alterations are being proposed to provide three retail tenancies within the corner building.
Tenancy 13 is also seeking approval for a red line plan to allow for the sale of packaged liquor. The proposed hours of operation are as follows:
- Monday to Wednesday – 9am-6pm
- Thursday to Friday – 9am-9pm
- Saturday to Sunday – 9am-5pm
It is noted that the permit already allows a redline plan area in the larger building located centrally to the site.
