The application is proposing the of the use of the land for a winery and cellar door sales.

Grapes grown on the property and at nearby properties would be processed and stored within an existing shed.

A small scale sales and wine tasting facility would be located in an anteroom next to the main processing/wine storage room (within the shed’s existing lean-to).

Visitors would be required to make an appointment to attend a wine tasting, however occasionally there may be an opportunity to participate with other local providers in an ‘open day’ which may involve more informal visitation.

Six car parks for visitors will be provided on an all-weather surface near the entrance to the shed.

A maximum number of 15 patrons is sought at any one time and cellar door visitation would be by appointment.

No works are proposed as the winery operation will take place within the existing shed.
