Design standards for infrastructure in new developments and subdivisions
Council has adopted 2 different engineering design standards for new infrastructure created as part of new developments and subdivisions. Each standard is applied within a specific area in the Shire.
These design standards supersede any previous standards and should be used on all new developments and subdivisions in the relevant location.
Engineering Design and Construction Manual – applies to areas within the Urban Growth Boundary
The EDCM applies to those areas of the Shire located within Melbourne’s Urban Growth Boundary, which includes Wallan and Beveridge.
To review the standards go to The Victorian Planning Authority: Engineering Design and Construction Manual (EDCM).
Infrastructure Design Manual – applies to the rest of the Shire
The IDM applies to Kilmore, Broadford, Seymour, Wandong, Heathcote Junction, Pyalong and all other areas not located within the Urban Growth Boundary.
To review the standards go to: Infrastructure Design Manual (IDM)
