The Club presents a first-rate function and conference facility for race day and non-race day events. The Club also provides an excellent training facility with 3 training tracks.

The Seymour Racing Club was formed in 1882, although the first recorded meeting was on Boxing Day 1853. Soon after the turn of the century, the Club changed its name to the Seymour Turf Club. However, after a recess in racing during the Second World War, when the army took over the racecourse, the Club reverted to its original name in October 1947.

Trail Rides

Pretty Sally Riding Ranch

Rides are offered on weekend days, public holidays and a variety of days throughout the school holidays. Weekday rides available for groups of 10 or more.

Our trail rides allow you to learn to ride the easy way, no going around in circles bouncing up and down learning nothing. Our rides take you through the Great Dividing Range with amazing views and stunning wildlife, the many kangaroos, Wedge Tail eagles, echidnas, rabbits and even sometimes some of our sneaky horses.

Build your confidence up on one of our safe Clydesdales who we trust taking even the littlest 7-year-old out for a cheerful ride!
