Is it time to Rethink what you know about Recycling?

Join us online to take a peek at what happens to your recycling and learn what you can do locally to make a difference.

There will be two tours:

  • Wednesday 24 March, 10am - 11.15am
  • Thursday 3 June, 7pm - 8.15pm

Enjoy the Rethink presentation about how a Material Recovery Facility (MRF) separates your recycling into material types ready for reprocessing. You’ll also learn about the dos and don'ts of recycling and even the how's and why's.

We will virtually "step inside" the MRF. You will get to see it in action, as a series of conveyor belts, material specific machines, massive trommels and hard-working manual sorters make light work of separating your co-mingled recycling ready to go back into our circular economy.

Take the chance to ask our experts any burning questions and we are sure you'll never see your recycling bin the same way again.

Each event is 1 hour and15 mins with lots of Q+A time during and at the end.

Only one booking required per household or device needed to connect to the online event.
