Come and join other land managers from across the region.

At this free event, you'll learn, share information, and network with other landholders and organisations on a wholistic approach to land management.

Presentations will be given on:

  • Rabbit and pest animal control
  • Protecting waterways and increasing biodiversity on your property and in your garden
  • How to develop a land management plan for your property

Weed identification and integrated control (serrated tussock, chilean needle grass, lobed needle grass and blackberry)

There will be a variety of information and resources available for participants, including a free copy of Healthy Hectares - A guide for small landholders to create productive and environmentally sustainable properties.

Interested participants will also receive an A3 laminated aerial photo of their property to assist in developing an individual property management plan and get to speed date a land management farm plan.

A light lunch will be provided.

This is a free event and is hosted by Mitchell Shire Council, City of Whittlesea, and Hume City Council.
