Kilmore Community Garden Open Day and 'Scaretactics'

Kilmore Community Garden Inc is hosting an open day. The event will include a mini market, with a small number of stalls from local small businesses. Stalls will include skin-care products, garden art, crafts, plants and more. There will also be a sausage sizzle, drinks and Devonshire Teas.

Dr Kaylene Evers PhD, will speak on the importance of community connection. An assortment of mini info sessions will run throughout the day. This will include learning about pickling olives, making refrigerator pickles, sauerkraut and more.

Further highlights of the day will be music from U3A recorder group, songs from the Broadford Singers and The Mechanics Institute and Free Library Inc scarecrow display 'Scaretactics!' There will be messy play and mud pie-making for the kids. Bring your own smocks or an old shirt. Bring a picnic, all welcome.
