Golden Oldies Vintage Car Tour
Victoria's largest vintage car tour will visit Seymour and surrounds on Tuesday 29 March and Wednesday 30 March as part of the 2022 Golden Oldies tour.
Open to vehicles built between 1 January 1919 and 31 December 1930, the tour will see 50 to 70 rare and collectible cars travel on country roads across central and northern Victoria.
The tour will leave from the Wunghnu Federation Picnic on Sunday 27 March and finish at the Veteran, Vintage and Classic Car Club Bendigo clubrooms on Sunday 3 April.
From 9 am Wednesday 30 March the tour will pass by the Vietnam Veterans Commemorative Walk in Seymour before travelling on to the Puckapunyal Army Tank Museum, Pyalong and then the Tooborac Hotel and Brewery from midday.
The Golden Oldies is sponsored by the Federation of Veteran, Vintage and Classic Car Clubs, a volunteer organisation that advocates for the historic vehicle movement and assists motoring clubs through grants and coordination of events throughout Victoria and Australia. The RACV has also contributed to all Golden Oldies.
The Kilmore Bypass is one of the most urgently needed road and infrastructure projects in the Shire. Council is seeking community support to help us make this an achievable priority for the State Government in the lead-up to the 2022 State Election.
