Celebrate Australia Day at Kings Park in Seymour from 8am to 1pm.

There's plenty of events and activities to keep the whole family entertained.

Program of events

8am to 10am: Big Aussie Breakfast available

10.30am: Flag raising ceremony and National Anthem

10am to 1pm: Rotary BBQ lunch

11am: Award ceremony, including:

  • Business Excellence Awards
  • Seymour Police Awards
  • Citizens Awards

Entertainment

There's plenty of entertainment happening throughout the day including:

  • Jumping castle
  • The Seymour Gift foot race (cash prizes to be won in three categories: Open, Under-16 and Under-10)
  • Minties tearing competition
  • Drawing competition
  • Seymour Car Club display
  • Community displays
  • Sheep shearing
  • Entertainment by Noel Pearson and Seymour FM radio 103.9

Seymour Ag Show exhibits

The 2021 Seymour Agricultural Show was cancelled due to COVID, however the VAS (State) and Group exhibits that you had ready for the show can be entered in the event for Australia Day.

The exhibits will be in the new Agricultural Pavilion.

Classes include:

  • Baking (open and junior)
  • Photography (open and junior)
  • Needlework and craft (open and junior)
  • Wool and VAS Conference Competition
