Swimming lessons and group fitness return

Kilmore Leisure Centre and Seymour Sports and Aquatic Centre will reopen for swimming lessons, group fitness, personal training, and gymnasium assessments and programs from Monday 23 November.

The gymnasium and group fitness classes (with the exemption of aqua classes) will no longer require bookings, however bookings will remain essential for the pool and aqua classes due to capacity restrictions.

The hours of the centres will also return to normal operating hours:

  • Monday to Thursday - 6am to 9pm
  • Friday - 6am to 7.30pm
  • Weekends - 8am to 1pm
  • Public holidays - 10am to 2pm

Swimming lessons

Swimming lessons will return from Monday 23 November.

Children can only be in the pool during their lesson and you must exit the facility immediately afterwards so that the next group can enter. There will be no recreational swimming before or after the lessons due to capacity restrictions.

There is a strict 1 parent/guardian to child ratio within the facility. If there are no other alternatives that can be arranged, siblings can attend at the same time of the lesson; however they will not be permitted into the pool.

Gyms

The easing of capacity restrictions means bookings will no longer be required from Monday 23 November. Your membership direct debit will be reactivated upon your first booking.

To make a gym booking for the remainder of the week, please head to our Members Only booking site.

Group fitness

The Group Fitness timetable has been finalised and will commence on Monday 23 November. The timetable is currently running at a limited capacity and will be reviewed for Term 1 2021 with a whole new Group Fitness timetable to be developed.

Classes are limited to 20 patrons and will be on a first-in basis through the centre. Bookings are not required with the exception of Aqua Aerobics.
