Seymour levee consultation report deferred

The consultation summary report on the proposed Seymour levee that was due to be presented to the March council meeting has been deferred.

Council has asked the independent consultants preparing the report for clarification around some of the methodology regarding the findings and improvements to the layout of the report so it easier to understand.

At this stage, we anticipate the consultation summary report will be presented to the April Council meeting, followed by the future directions report in May. The directions report will consider whether Council should proceed with a levee or not in Seymour.

We appreciate there is a strong level of community interest in this report and also in the future directions report which will follow. We appreciate the community's patience while we work through these changes.
