Sell out show ready to rock Wallan

Attack of the Plastic Time Monsters show is on Monday 13 January at the Wallan Multi-Purpose Community Centre and best of all it’s free. Created and performed by two of Melbourne’s finest comedians, the theatrical comedy show raises awareness about littering and ocean health.

After recently completing a sell-out show at La Mama and Melba Speigeltent at last years the Melbourne Comedy Festival and with limited spaces we encourage you to register your spot via the Mitchell Shire Council Facebook page.

The plot follows two best friends who have been sent back through time to change the course of history and save the world. The dreaded plastic time monsters are hot on their trail as they attempt to save the oceans in this fast-paced comedy aimed at five to nine-year olds, but sure to be enjoyed by all.

People can also visit www.mitchellshire.vic.gov.au/school-holidays for other ideas and interesting things to see and do across the Shire and online.

Quotes attributable to Mitchell Shire Mayor Councillor David Lowe

“Those dreaded plastic time monsters are heading to Mitchell Shire this summer, come and see how our heroes save the world”.

“Educating our youth about the importance of ocean health and proper waste reduction is paramount. Being able to deliver this information in a fun and engaging manner is even better,” he said.
