Reflect, Respect and Celebrate this Australia Day

Reflect, Respect and Celebrate this Australia Day at an event near you.

Australia Day events will be held in Broadford, Seymour and Wandong.

Council's Community Awards and Citizenship Ceremony will be held in conjunction with the Broadford Australia Day festival at the Island Reserve, with the official proceedings kicking off at 11am.

The awards are:

  • Citizen of the Year
  • Young Citizen of the Year
  • Community Event of the Year
  • Community Group of the Year
  • Access and Inclusion Champion Award

The Broadford event runs from 7am to 3pm.

Seymour's event at Kings Park will be on from 8am to 1pm, while Wandong will host its event between 8am and 10am.
