Public Notice - Notice of an Application for a Development Plan

A Development Plan is a framework that guides future development on the land. The proposed layout has been reached following consideration of the site’s features and design guidelines for the area. It is required that a Development Plan is approved before a planning permit can be granted to the subject land.
In accordance with the Planning and Environment Act 1987 and Mitchell Planning Scheme, there is no requirement to formally exhibit these documents and consider submissions. However, Council will consider any submissions or comments received as part of its formal consideration of the development plan at a future Council meeting.
You may look at the application and any documents that support the application at the following locations:

- Kilmore Customer and Library Service Centre, 12 Sydney Street, Kilmore
This can be done during office hours and is free of charge (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm).
Any person who wishes to make a submission regarding the development plan may do so. A submission must be set to Mitchell Shire Council, Manager Strategic Planning, 113 High Street, Broadford, VIC, 3658 or via email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be aware that copies of objections/submissions received may be made available to any person for the purpose of consideration as part of the planning process.
If you have any comments in relation to the received development plan please provide this in writing by no later than Friday 11 October 2019.
