Consideration of Sale of Land
Pursuant to Section 114(2) of the Local Government Act 2020 (the Act), Mitchell Shire Council (Council) is required to give notice of its consideration to sell or exchange land.
Council hereby gives notice of the consideration to sell the land known as Lot 1 PS747382, contained in Volume 11826 Folio 828. The land located on Conway Street Kilmore and is 989m2 in size. If the sale proceeds, the land is proposed to be sold by private treaty to an adjacent land owner for not less than the market value.
Any person who wishes to make a submission regarding the proposed land sale may do so in accordance with Council’s Community Engagement Policy under section 55 of the Act, with all submissions considered in accordance with the Community Engagement Policy and Framework. Any person making a written submission is advised that all submissions and personal information in the submission will be handled by Council in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014. Any person making a written submission may request in the submission to be heard in support of their submission, or be represented by a person specified in the submission, before a meeting of Council’s Community Questions and Hearings Committee.
Written submissions should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Mitchell Shire Council and be posted to 113 High Street Broadford VIC 3658 or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
