Plans for Pyalong park take shape

Plans for a new playground and upgrade of Pyalong’s Town Centre Park have been released for input.

Mitchell Shire Council developed the draft plans following community input last year.

The plans feature:

  • new playground equipment
  • a half-court basketball area
  • nature play
  • seating
  • pathways
  • fencing
  • tree plantings.

Survey closes 9am, Monday 17 February.

“Pyalong has a very active community with a strong vision for the town," Cr Lowe said.

"The new space will provide extra facilities for locals in the town centre and encourage visitors to spend more time in the town and explore the area rather than just passing through."

“The draft plans have been developed with input from various community groups and members. We now want to know what the wider community thinks before we finalise plans and start to seek funding to assist with construction costs in the future.”
