Wallan southbound BP Truckstop listed as tier 2 exposure site

The BP Truckstop on the Hume Freeway (southbound/Melbourne bound) at Wallan has been identitified as tier 2 exposure site. Anyone who visited the BP on Monday 24 May between 6.45pm to 7.15pm should get tested urgently, then isolate until confirmation of a negative result. Continue to monitor for symptoms and get tested again if symptoms appear.

Victorian health authorities are working closely with NSW Health to test, trace and isolate the contacts of a newly-identified positive case who travelled from Victoria to New South Wales, returning to Melbourne on 24 May.

Investigations are still proceeding but the person has provided initial information about exposure sites which include the BP Truckshop at Wallan.

It is important that we all continue to monitor the Victorian Government exposure sites list for any other locations or changes that may be made.

Anyone who has been to an exposure site that requires you to quarantine for 14 days is a primary close contact. For more information about what to do:
