Kilmore COVID update

A staff member at Kemp’s Bakery in Kilmore has tested positive for COVID-19. This staff member worked between 1 October and 11 October. They are not considered to have been infectious during that period.

Kemp’s Bakeries in both Kilmore and Wandong will be closed for cleaning.

All staff from both bakeries who worked between those dates are asked to get tested as soon as possible, even if they don’t have any symptoms.

These staff members should isolate at home until they receive a negative test result.

The families and household members of Kemp’s Kilmore staff are requested to isolate until their household staff member receives a negative result. They do not need to get tested, unless they have symptoms.

The families and household members of Kemp’s Wandong are not being requested to isolate or get tested at this time.

Anyone in Kilmore or Wandong should get tested if they have any symptoms, however mild. As always, anyone with symptoms must isolate at home until they have a negative test result and their symptoms resolve.

Testing is available today at Kilmore District Hospital. People are advised to call ahead to book a test on 03 5734 2024.

Other local testing sites
