Council is encouraging community groups wanting to host the special day to come forward and register their interest.

The event will see Council reward the hard work of volunteers, community groups and people throughout our community during the annual awards ceremony.

The special ceremony will award the Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, Access and Inclusion Champion, Community Group of the Year and Community Event of the Year.

The Citizenship Ceremony will follow and celebrate a host of people receiving their citizenship.

The 2020 event will be held in Pyalong, the 2019 event was in Seymour while Broadford were the hosts in 2018.

Events will only be considered if they are held on Council owned or managed land.

Expressions of Interest close on Monday, 9 September 2019.
