First aid and CPR training terms and conditions

This training is funded by Mitchell Shire Council through the Victorian Government Engage! Initiative. This training is being run and managed by EHS Solutions.

This training is free for participants aged 12 to 24 years with a connection to the Mitchell Shire area.

This opportunity is limited to one training per person.

This offer is open for entry until 1 December 2022 or until vouchers run out. A total of 30 vouchers will be offered. Vouchers may be used for sessions delivered until 28 February 2023. No compensation will be applicable if the participant cannot use the voucher by the given date.

To be awarded the training voucher, participants must either live, socialise or study within the Mitchell Shire area.

Successful entrants' details will be provided to EHS Solutions. The certificate will be issued by Allens Training RTO90909. EHS is managing the course as part of the training.

Council reserves the right to request proof of age and association to the Mitchell area. Proof of age will be verified by:

  • learners permit or driver's license
  • proof of age card
  • screenshot of Compass information
  • birth certificate
  • passport
  • other

Council accepts no responsibility for loss or late usage of vouchers.

Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods/services.

Mitchell Shire Council has total discretion to remove an entrant/ revoke a voucher if the entrant has not complied with the terms and conditions.

Failure by Mitchell Shire Council to enforce any of its rights under these Terms and Conditions of Entry at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

Mitchell Shire Council staff, contractors, Councillors and their immediate family are not eligible to receive the voucher. The immediate family includes any members living in the same household as a Mitchell Shire Council staff member, contractor or Councillor.

By accepting the First Aid Training and CPR voucher, you have agreed to all terms and conditions.

Privacy statement

Personal information collected by the Council is used for municipal purposes as specified in the Local Government Act 2020 or other relevant legislation. All personal information (including images) collected by the proponent and Mitchell Shire Council will be used for the Council’s business purposes and kept confidential except as permitted in the above Terms and Conditions of Entry. These details will not be disclosed to third parties unless the Council is required to disclose the information under other legislation or disclosure is necessary to complete the purpose for which it is sought.
