As part of Council’s 2016/17 Capital Works Program, pavement rehabilitation works in Railway Place in Seymour are due to commence next Wednesday 21 June 2017.
The $108,000 works will involve the rehabilitation of asphalt pavement in Railway Place between Anzac Avenue and the Railway Line.
The upgrade will improve the road condition and the visual amenity of the area, which is a gateway for many people arriving in Seymour via bus.
The works are expected to take three days. Traffic control will be in place and traffic controllers will be onsite to assist pedestrians and motorists through the site while work is underway.
Bus stops in Railway Place will be temporarily relocated a short distance along Railway Place during the works.
Signage will also be placed in the Railway Car Park to notify railway users of the works.
