Lock it or Lose it Community Safety Forums

Mitchell Shire Council in partnership with Victoria Police and South Mitchell Neighbourhood Watch, invites residents to join us for a series of community safety forums that will be held across Mitchell Shire, commencing on Tuesday 20 March and continuing across April and May.

The forums will cover various community safety topics including theft of and from motor vehicles, road safety, family violence, home safety and general community safety.

Featherton Rise Free Community BBQ

This free BBQ* is a great opportunity for the community to engage with Mitchell Shire Council, Victoria Police and South Mitchell Neighbourhood Watch and is open to the whole community.

When: Tuesday 20 March, 5pm - 7pm

Where: Playground/Open space on Holly Drive, Wallan

Tradies Community Safety Forums

These forums will provide an opportunity for tradies across Mitchell Shire to speak with representatives from Mitchell Shire Council, Victoria Police and South Mitchell Neighbourhood Watch about issues around tool/vehicle theft and community safety. The forums will include free tool engraving, resources to reduce theft of tools from vehicles and how to safely secure tools.
