Goulburn and Broken Rivers Flood Study

Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority is starting a flood study for the Goulburn River floodplain with a focus on rural areas. There are five drop-in sessions including Nagambie on 12 February and Trawool on 16 February.

Outer suburbs liveability - what matters most to you?

We're one of 10 Interface Councils in Victoria. Interface Councils believes the 1.6 million people we represent should have access to adequate public transport, local jobs, education, health and community services, community facilities and uncongested roads. The Interface Councils are currently developing a liveability policy and we need your input to help address these gaps by taking a short survey about what will make your neighbourhood and community more liveable and help people in the outer suburbs to access jobs, services, education and other opportunities that are available in other parts of Melbourne. Wallan to Heathcote Rail Trail feasibility study released

The Wallan to Heathcote Rail Trail feasibility study has been released and is available on our Engaging Mitchell website. It includes reports on community engagement , heritage, ecology, engineering and economics as well as a summary of what we heard from landholders along the trail. Council will consider next steps for the trail at the March Council meeting.
