Individual and team entrants can compete in the Community competition, which is for all abilities, or for those up for the challenge, the Athlete Competition.
Individuals or Teams that register in the Athlete category, for the purposes of this challenge, will be defined as someone who is currently training and competing in official events such as triathlons, and half and full marathons. If you plan on converting cycling to steps, you will also need to enter the Athlete category.
Multiple teams can be entered for each workplace. A perfect opportunity to bring your team together. We also encourage friendly competition against other workplaces and community groups!
Individual entries are for a single participant in the competition, while Teams are made up of 4-6 people, with their steps logged weekly by a team appointed team leader.
Teams and individuals can view their progress on the leaderboard throughout the challenge.

ENTERING YOUR STEPS
The Leaderboard will open on 9 October 2017 and close on midnight on 6 November.
Each week you will have until midnight on Monday to enter all your steps for the previous week.
You have the option of either entering your steps for each day – or tallying them up and entering the total in the last field (Sunday) for each week.
The Leaderboard will update at midnight each Monday and after that you won't be able to enter any more steps for the previous week. So be sure to update your steps before the deadline for your best chance to compete. Come back each day if you can, it's a great way to make sure you don't miss out.
If you are a team leader or school, make sure you enter the total figure for the day in the correct field and don’t forget to use the ‘save’ button at the bottom of the page!
If you make a mistake, please contact us on 03 5734 6200 and we can help you correct your steps – remember honesty is the best policy!
You can join the Challenge as either an individual participant or in a team of 4-6 members or as a school by signing up below. You'll add your steps to our website Leaderboard during the Challenge. With the last week results due to be recorded by Monday 6 November, winners* will be announced Wednesday 8 November 2017.
