Road Opening Permit
To undertake works within a Mitchell Shire Council road reserve, excluding VicRoads managed roads, a permit must be attained.

Memorandum of Authorisation (MOA)
Authorisation must be requested to erect, display, place, remove or alter traffic control devices.
An MOA Permit Application Form must be submitted to Council for authorisation.
Heavy Vehicle Endorsement Application
Council is required to endorse a B-Double Permit Application for B-Double or Higher Mass Semi Vehicles on non-gazetted, Council managed, local roads.
The following Council managed local roads are gazetted for heavy vehicle use so endorsement from Council is not required:
- Wallis Street, Seymour - between Emily Street and High Street
- High Street, Seymour - between Wallis Street and Tarcombe Road
- Tarcombe Road, Seymour - between High Street and Oak Street
- Oak Street, Seymour - between Tarcombe Road and Anzac Avenue
