Children's Library Programs 

Introduce your child to the joys of reading and the wonderful world of books with the Mitchell Library Service's free RhymeTime and StoryTime Sessions. The sessions provide opportunities:

• For parents to meet with other parents and carers
• For social interaction of your child with other children
• For your child to develop language skills
• For fun and a special time to share with your child

No bookings are required, just come along to one of the sessions listed below.

Baby Rhymetime - Engage your baby and spend a bit of one-on-one time together. Suitable for babies from 0-12 months.

• Broadford - Tuesday 9.30am
• Kilmore - Thursday 11.30am
• Seymour - Wednesday 10.30am
• Wallan - Wednesday 11.30am
  

Rhymetime - Burn off some energy singing and rhyming, playing with puppets, musical instruments, bubbles and reading simple books. Suitable for toddlers.

• Seymour - Monday 10.30am
• Wallan - Wednesday 10.30am
  

Storytime - Make crafty bits and pieces, read stories together, sing and have fun. Suitable for pre-school children.

Special storytelling sessions are available for playgroups, kindergartens and other groups on request.
