Mitchell Shire Council maintains community noticeboards for:
- Council Announcements
- Community Groups or Clubs
All notices placed in or on the noticeboards must:
- Be approved by Council before being displayed
- Can be posted, hand delivered or emailed for approval
- Received five working days before the first day of each month
- marked "Attention: Community Services Administration Officer"
Council has adopted some basic guidelines for our community noticeboards:
- Council information has priority given space availability
- Community benefit must be apparent for the notice to be displayed
- Only matters of fact, not opinion, are to be posted
- Any notice must be non-commercial, non-political and non-religious/evangelical
- Notices must be related to incorporated community groups, clubs or organisations
- Once a month updates / clearance to be made first business day of each month
- Applications to display notices must be approved by Council staff. Council will not endorse inappropriate, controversial or offensive material

Hand delivered material can be dropped off at any Coucil Customer Service Centre.

- Tooborac - Northern Highway at the General Store
- Tallarook - Main Road - At park next to Mechanics Institute
- Pyalong - High Street at the Community Centre
- Broadford - High Street in front of National Australia Bank
- Kilmore - White Street at the Leisure Centre
- Kilmore - Sydney Street in front of the library
- Seymour - Pollard street at the Leisure Centre (attached to wall)
- Seymour - Bishop Street at the roundabout, cnr of Bishop & Wallis Sts.
- Wallan - Bentinck Street at Wallan Multi-Purpose Community Centre
- Wandong - Epping Kilmore Road in front of the post office
