The new, revised ‘Your Guide to the Weeds of Central Victoria’ is now available from the Mitchell Shire Council’s Environmental Programs Unit, and best of all, it’s FREE.
The new guide has been developed in conjunction with Macedon Ranges and Mount Alexander Shire Councils.
For individual weeds, the revised ‘Your Guide to the Weeds of Central Victoria’ gives a description and photo, dispersal methods and control techniques. Almost sixty weeds are profiled, from angled onion to wheel cactus. To inspire those who are about to embark on a weed control program there are three case studies of successful weed eradications of willow, Paterson’s curse and gorse.
