If you're new to the Mitchell Shire, then welcome. We all know how difficult it can be to move into a new area, so the Mitchell Shire Council has developed this New Resident’s Kit to help make your transition into our Shire a little easier.
Included with the kit is information for initial registration and processing of such matters as: cat or dog registration; garbage collection; electoral enrolment; mail redirection and other relevant information.
Whilst every effort has been made to ensure there is a wealth of information provided in the kit, Council staff are available to assist with enquires you may have that cannot be found in the kit or on this website.
