A service provided by the Assets Unit of the Mitchell Shire Council covering: garbage collection, recycling, refuse sites and green waste disposal in the Mitchell Shire.

Council provides residents within the waste management collection area with a 240 litre wheelie bin for recycling and a 120 litre wheelie bin for rubbish. There is no charge for the bin and it remains the property of Mitchell Shire Council.

Council operates transfer stations in Seymour, Tallarook, Pyalong, Broadford and Kilmore. Details about opening times and refuse charges is available via the link below (waste brochure).
