We will be holding a "Family Fun Day" including, children's amusements, rides, sausage sizzle, a live performer, jumping castle, face painter, balloon sculptor, animal farm, local band, Historical photo display, Children's art exhibit, medal presentation, cake cutting, VIP guests and much more!
Past staff, committee, students and their families will have the opportunity to reconnect with the Wallan Kindergarten community.

A fantastic Family Fun Day has been organised for Sunday 15 November, at Waterford Park Reserve in Clonbinane. This great day will provide lots of fun and entertainment for the whole family, right in the middle of the school holidays.
The day will begin at 11am and festivities will continue until 4pm.
Amusements will include Farmer Darryl’s Petting Zoo, face painting, jumping castle and temporary tattoos. All activities will be free.
For those who enjoy more active pursuits, there will be 3-legged races, sack races, and gumboot throwing.
A speed ball competition will also be held – this involves throwing a ball as fast as you can whilst the speed is measured by police radar.
Prizes will also be awarded during a pet competition – so bring your favourite pet along.
Food will be available throughout the day, or bring a picnic lunch.

White Ribbon Day Sausage Sizzle

The White Ribbon Day campaign is led by men who are taking a stand against violence against women and helping to create positive role models for other men in the community. White Ribbon Day takes place on 25 November each year and this year, the Family Violence team at Mitchell Community Health Service, has organised a sausage sizzle to raise awareness of the issues surrounding family violence and highlight the support and programs available to residents of Mitchell and Murrindindi.
The event is being held outside the Wallan Library on 25 November during the lunch hours of 12.30pm – 2.00pm with free sausages, show bags and other handouts promoting a violence free community in conjunction with other workers from participating organisations of the Lower Hume Family Violence Network.
